Look at where the hours in an Arizona State course actually go and most of them are spent on pages nobody grades. Chapters, articles, recorded lectures, case material. None of it appears in the gradebook, and all of it is the raw material for the things that do.
That combination is unusual and it does something predictable to people. Work with a mark attached gets done because the consequence is visible; work without one gets postponed because the consequence is not. A fortnight later the papers feel harder and nobody connects the two, so the student concludes the course is above them when the truth is that the supply ran out.
02Reading planned the way work is planned
A tender treats it as a scheduled task with an output rather than as something you do if the evening allows. The output is a short set of notes carrying page references, because a quotation you cannot locate again is worth nothing at the point you need to cite it.
It is also read at different depths on purpose, since reading everything closely is the same mistake as reading nothing. Four rules cover almost every course here.
- Read the assignment before the chapter, so you know what you are looking for while you look.
- Read closely only what the graded work will draw on, and skim the rest for the shape of the argument.
- Take notes in the form the assignment needs them, with the citation attached at the moment you write the line.
- Do the reading for the discussion before the discussion opens, not after somebody else has told you what it said.
03Seven and a half weeks does not shrink the pages
A shorter session removes calendar and leaves the material where it was, so the weekly reading load roughly doubles against a full semester course. Carry two sessions across one semester and there is a stretch where a new course opens while the previous one is at its heaviest, and that stretch is where reading is abandoned first.
Which is why the plan is drawn across the whole semester rather than one course at a time, with the heavy reading weeks moved off the collision. Everything graded then runs on the ordinary rhythm of full class support: drafted early, read by you, filed by you.
04Papers, group work, and what stays with the student
Most courses here end in something substantial rather than a final examination, and a substantial paper is only as good as the sources behind it. That is where the reading pays for itself, and single pieces can be handed over on their own through essays and assignments when the rest of the term is fine.
Group assignments get the same treatment as anything else: your own portion is written so it stands alone if nobody else files theirs, and we do not contact your classmates. Where a course does carry an invigilated final, that sitting is yours and preparation for it comes through exam prep. Account credentials stay with the student, always.

Can a tender do the reading as well as the writing?
Yes, and it is the part people underestimate. The reading is done first and comes back to you as notes you can use: the argument in a few lines, the passages the assignment will need, and the citations already formatted. Some students buy only that and write everything themselves, which is a perfectly good arrangement.

It usually is, at the point where a new course opens while the older one is at its heaviest. A tender lays both calendars together, finds the fortnight where they collide, and moves whatever can be moved into the weeks on either side. The work that cannot move is the work you hand over first.
How does group work get handled when nobody in the group replies?
Your section is written so it can be submitted on its own and read as complete, which protects your mark when a group falls apart. A tender will also draft the note to faculty recording who supplied what and when. What we will not do is message your classmates or file anything under their names.
Does this cover the writing intensive courses specifically?
It does, and those are the most common request from Arizona State students. Long papers go to tenders holding a doctorate in the subject, written from real sources you can open and check, formatted in the style your school asks for. Drafts reach you early enough to argue with rather than an hour before the window closes.
What does a session of help cost?
The number comes out of your own syllabus rather than a menu, since the reading load and the level move it more than anything else. An undergraduate course sits toward the bottom, a graduate course with a research paper attached noticeably higher. The quote comes back broken out by part within two hours.
