In one paragraph
You send us a course and some details; we use them to price the work, do the work, and write back to you about it. Nothing goes to your university, your employer or anyone selling anything. If you want it all deleted afterwards, say so and it goes.
What arrives here
Whatever you put in a form: a name to call you by, an email address or phone number, the school and course, the deadlines you are working to, and any screenshots or files you attach so a specialist can read the actual assignment.
Our host also records the ordinary traffic a web server sees, meaning the page requested, a rough location from the network address, and which browser asked. That is used to keep the site standing up and to notice when something is broken, not to build a profile of you.
What it gets used for
Pricing the work, doing the work, and talking to you while it is under way. If you subscribe to the Almanac, the same address receives one letter a week and nothing else, and every one of them carries a link that ends it in a single click.
What will not happen
Your details are not sold, rented or traded. Nobody here contacts a university, a faculty member, a preceptor or an employer about you, under any circumstances and for any reason. We do not publish anything that identifies you; the results on the reviews page carry initials and a program, and that is deliberate.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that never became work are cleared out after about a year. Where work was done, the order record is kept while it could still matter for a revision or a dispute, then removed. Write to steward@tutorstead.com and ask for your record to be deleted and it will be, without a form to fill in first.
Asking about any of this
One address for all of it: steward@tutorstead.com. A person reads it.
